Vishnuprayag is one of the Panch Prayags (five confluences) of the Alaknanda River, where it meets the swift Dhauliganga. Surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan peaks and spiritual calm, this prayag is believed to be the site where Sage Narada meditated and Lord Vishnu appeared before him.
