Safari Experience
The best way to explore the park is through a Jeep Safari, available at various gates like Chilla, Mohand, and Motichur. Safaris usually take place early in the morning or late afternoon. It’s an incredible opportunity to witness wildlife up close while enjoying the serenity of the forest.
Ideal Time to Visit
The park is open from 15th November to 15th June every year. The winter and spring months (November to April) are the best times to visit, as the weather is pleasant and wildlife sightings are more frequent.

Rajaji National Park is easily accessible from Haridwar (approx. 10–15 km). You can reach the park via taxi or local transport. Dehradun Airport and Haridwar Railway Station are the nearest air and rail links.
