According to Hindu mythology, this is the place where Lord Hanuman stopped while carrying the Sanjeevani Booti to revive Lakshman during the battle in Lanka. The hilltop is said to resemble the shape of a foot, believed to be Hanuman Jiβs footprint.

The Monkey Point Temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Situated inside the Indian Air Force Station, the temple is peaceful and offers a spiritual vibe. Visitors need to go through a security check to enter, as it’s a restricted military area.
