A Glimpse into History

Established in 1880 as the Kasauli Reading and Assembly Rooms, the club served British officers during the Raj. Over the years, it evolved into the Kasauli Club, retaining much of its original architecture and charm. Despite a fire in 2001, the club was lovingly restored to its former glory.

The club boasts a range of facilities including:

  • A colonial-style bar and lounge
  • Billiards and card rooms
  • A library and reading room
  • Tennis and badminton courts

Exclusive Membership

Kasauli Club operates on a strict members-only policy. Membership is highly exclusive and mostly reserved for Army officers, civil servants, and notable figures. Guests are only allowed when accompanied by members, adding to the club’s elite atmosphere.

Annual Festivities and Events

The club comes alive during its annual summer ball, attracting members from across the country. With music, dance, and old-world hospitality, it’s an event that celebrates tradition with flair.
