Spiritual Significance of Madmaheshwar Temple
Madmaheshwar (also spelled Madhyamaheshwar) is the second temple in the Panch Kedar pilgrimage after Kedarnath. According to Hindu mythology, the navel and stomach of Lord Shiva appeared here when he disappeared into the earth in the form of a bull.
